📝 What Should I Have Ready for My Appointment?

Before we meet, please:

  • Review your documents for correct spelling, dates, and completeness

  • Fill out all sections except where signatures or notarizations are required

  • Bring a valid photo ID (see the accepted list below in Section 4)

🪪 What Types of ID Are Accepted for Notarization?

To complete any notarization, clients must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification follow the requirements of the state where the notarization takes place. Common examples include driver’s licenses, state ID cards, U.S. passports, military IDs, and other government-issued photo identification.

  • State Driver’s License or ID Card

  • U.S. Passport

  • U.S. Military ID Card

  • Driver’s License or ID from another U.S. state

  • Foreign Passport (must be stamped by U.S. Customs & Border Protection)

  • Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

  • Inmate ID (from a WA state correctional facility)

  • Two credible witnesses (if the signer lacks valid ID — restrictions apply)
